We care about how you feel.

Mr. Connor

I want to thank you and the Westin Boston Waterfront for hosting our DCMA Holiday Party on December 17th and for providing the excellent weekend get-away raffle prize.  Our employees had a phenomenal time at "Sauciety" and I can say with certainty that even though the Westin team surpassed our expectations last year...this year's event was even greater.  Please be sure to thank the following Westin employees: Michael Pereira; Chef Brian, Anthony, Brandon, Anna and Fatmil from the Back of the house; and, from the Front of the house: Clara, Marian, Yu Ma, and Petraq.

Most importantly, please thank John Sadek for not only coordinating this luncheon, but for the many other events he has pursued on our behalf.  John continues to build "enduring greatness" into the Westin Boston Waterfront.  Jim Collins, the author of Built to Last, has written a book entitled Good to Great.  Collins found that when leaders took over organizations, rather than begin by setting a new vision and strategy, leaders who took their companies to greatness first got the right people on the bus, the wrong people off the bus and the right people in the right seats - and then they figured out where to drive it.  The old adage "people are your most important asset" isn't exactly true.  The right people are.

We, at DCMA, are certainly happy that you have John Sadek on the Westin Boston Waterfront Bus.  He understands the difference between customer service and quality service, and knows what it takes to produce greatness.  Please pass along our sincere thanks for his extraordinary competence.

Sincerely,

David S. Horton

" Thank you to the Westin Waterfront Team for responding quickly, thoughtfully, professionally, and caringly to assist ladies in distress (not to mention a Governor and his staff)."

" Wow, what a fantastic time we had in Boston! Let me start by saying our room was perfect and you are right, the skyline is unmatched in my experience! Julia, who checked us in was very polite and professional and the concierge was amazing. As a smoker, I had the pleasure of spending some time out front with Otto and George who had great suggestions on sights to see. "

" I was treated with the utmost professionalism upon my arrival. The staff was courteous, accommodating and quite a pleasure to deal with. I had a fantastiv view of the skyine from my room on the 14th floor. Cory, my bellhop, was over the top professional. He shared some things about the hotel with me. When I asked him if he enjoyed working at the Westin he stated he does and has since the day he was hired. He realized without my prompting that I was planning for a special person to arrive by the flowers I bought fro her. He left and returned with a chilled bottle of wine and said he hoped the night was perfect. The staff made me feel as if I were the only person in the hotel"
